Summer is coming!
Haven't updated blog so long...
I spent half of month doing various things here.
But at least, I am fine
Had v-ball week playing v-ball 6 days in a week.
It was for Asian tourny on long weekends.
I had so much fun with my team ladies!!
Went Comox again for about 2 days and had big super surprising Birthday party for my Canadian grand mom.
I made 85 cranes with origami for table decoration.
(It was 85's years old b.d for her)
Huge B.D cake(maybe regular size in Canada!?)
My host mother's hand made yummy lemon cake.
decorated by her friend who was pastry chef.
We set up restaurant before ppl comes. Ready !!
Grandmom was in hospital and took to the restaurant.
Even she didn't know it was her B.D on that day.
When she got to the restaurant, there were around 40 ppl like her friends, relatives, and old co-workers...
She was crying and surprised.
Came back to Vancouver after the party.
Started new life.
I have decided to stay in Vancouver through summer without going back to Japan last week.
Thanks to everything what I have now and everybody who are supporting me.
Sometimes it doesn't go well as I planed.
But, day by day just do what I can now.
Recently, I am enjoying healthy cooking.
Taking tofu or seafood as a main dish,
I make several side dish. of course, Japanese side dish. healthy choice!

baked salmon with garlic. etc
Always making Japanese style lunch box using stocked side dishes.
I mean not sandwich lunch bags.
Food is really important, I feel everyday.
Eating and enjoying good & healthy food. Make it the energy for the day
I have relaxing weekend. Doing the things what I gotta do at home.
Well. almost done! then, time to enjoy sun in front of beach!?

Beautiful Comox Valley
My sister and I went to Comox valley in the middle of Vancouver island on the last Thu.
Comox Valley is my hometown in Canada where I spent the 1st 1 month when I came to Canada.
For this time, my sister will stay at my host mother's place and go to English school.
We enjoyed my host mother's great cooking.
Looking around beatiful town.
Visiting school and so on...

For mother's day, we cooked dinner with the other host sitster for our Canadian mom.
Our menu is.....
It is called "Chirashi" zushi.
"Chirashi" means like scattering.
It is special sushi for celebration. Or good for party.
Also as a custom, we will have this sushi on May 3rd(girl's day)
Host sister, who is from China, made Thai beef noodle salad.
Also, we got carnation and card.
Mom's day dinner is set♪
I am really glad that mom really liked our dinner ^^
From yesterday, my sister's school has started.
Then, I came back to Vancouver.
Always when I go there, I reset my mind and back to the first objectives.
More than anything, I appreciate my Canadian mom and ppl in Comox.
My Vancouver vacation has just started.
This week will be volleyball week.
We will have tournament on this weekends.
For that, practice on Mon, Tue, Wed. annnnnd the game on Sat and Sun.

I came back to Vancouver on the last Thr.
Enjoying time with my sister who came to the land for learning English and experiencing Canada life.
We enjoyed together,,,
- D/T exploring
- Chinatown, Gastown
- rollerblading along Stanley Park
-4th street shopping
-Commercial Dr. eating out
etc .. etc..
Wao.. as I go around again, I love this city.
So much memories everywhere. Really comfortable here!
Today, I had the 1st v-ball practices with new team for Asian tournament.
They are really nice member!
Hope we do well for tourney coming on May 16th and 17th.
Now that I don't have any job cuz no tour guide job><
But, fully I will enjoy Vancouver vacation time!
On Thr, we will head to Vancouver island, Comox, my hometown in Canada.
My sister will spend time there for homestaying with my host mom and go to English school.
Fuu.
